Your mission

  • You will be responsible for the establishment and further development of our Business Development department – with a focus on international expansion, national business development, and the development of new markets.
  • Based on in-depth market and competitive analyses, you will develop business cases and go-to-market plans and implement them together with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Pre-Sales.
  • You will evaluate market requirements – from regulatory frameworks to cultural specifics – and derive concrete strategies and recommendations for action.
  • With a keen eye for trends and market dynamics, you will identify opportunities early on and transform them into sustainable growth strategies.
  • You will build new partnerships and further develop existing ones – whether through collaborations, integration, or in close collaboration with our partner management.
  • In addition to developing markets, you will also develop new areas of focus and drive their development.
  • You will gradually build a high-performance Business Development team, lead it with clarity and motivation, and establish a culture of ownership and growth.
  • In close coordination with management, you will ensure that national business development and international expansion mesh seamlessly.

Your profile

  • You have leadership experience and at least 5 years of expertise in business development, international project management, or a comparable role – ideally in the SaaS or software environment.
  • Your strategic background in market or business development enables you to thoroughly evaluate potential and translate it into viable business models.
  • You are willing to contribute operationally in the initial phase, but always maintain a broader perspective and consistently develop your team toward independence.
  • With strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and intercultural competence, you move confidently between management, partners, and customers.
  • You combine analytical thinking with pragmatism and find creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • You are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level); additional foreign languages are an advantage.
