Our Mission

What is our goal? We want to make the world of work safer, simpler and more sustainable! For us, both people and the environment are top priorities. Our software solution iManSys helps companies from a wide range of industries to protect and support their employees in the best possible way. Thanks to our software, the number of work accidents in companies can be reduced, better sustainability can be ensured and the full potential of all employees can be exploited. We are proud of this!

All of these aspects are summarised under the area of compliance management, in which domeba is one of the leading companies in Germany. Founded in 1998 by Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Domes (left), we are still owner-managed today – and have never lost the feeling of a start-up. We now also operate in France, Denmark, Poland and Switzerland and have over 120 committed employees.

There is no such thing as a dull day at the office! With commitment and a good dose of humor, we at domeba work together to improve the working world. Our corporate culture is characterised by a friendly Togetherness and mutual appreciation and support – every suggestion is taken seriously, every opinion counts. We rely on both fresh ideas and many years of experience. Every day we can learn from each other and develop together.

Social Responsibility

We continue to grow, but we do not lose sight of the domeba feel-good factor. As a long-standing employer in Chemnitz, we are aware of our economic, ecological and social responsibility. We focus primarily on projects that benefit our region.

We support the NINERS Chemnitz and the Floor Fighters Chemnitz as sponsors, but we are also active in the cultural sector. Since we are also aware that social responsibility is becoming increasingly important, every year around Christmas we donate to “Herzensprojekte” that we have selected.

We also show our full commitment outside of the office. Whether it’s fundraising runs or tree planting campaigns – we are committed to our region!

 European Capital of Culture – together with domeba

domeba ist Unterstützer der Kulturhauptstadt Chemnitz 2025

We are supporters of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 and are participating in the youth project CREATE.U. As supporters of this important initiative, we are helping to promote the cultural diversity and creative potential of our city. Together with Chemnitz, we are committed to realising cultural projects and events that make our city an even more vibrant and inspiring place.

Our History

1998 – The Beginnings

 

 

Matthias and Bernadette Domes found domeba as a classic garage start-up. In the beginning, they mainly focussed on web design, but new innovative ideas soon followed.

 

 

2002-2004 – The First Software

 

 

The foundations for today’s iManSys are laid. Together with the customer Pfeifer & Langen, the development of a learning management system begins: LeManSys. The first employee is hired in 2003.

 

 

2005-2009 – The Break Through

 

 

Over the next few years, domeba becomes better known. Starting with the presentation of LeManSys at the A+A 2005 trade fair, domeba collects more and more references, many of whom are still customers today.

 

 

2010-2012 – The Growth

 

 

The team is growing along with the customers. Major brands such as Coca-Cola, Remondis and Unilever place their trust in the software.

 

 

2013-2015 – iManSys

 

 

Occupational health and safety is extensive – which is why more and more software modules are being developed. In 2015, all modules are merged into the iManSys software suite.

 

 

2016-2019 – The domebians

 

 

As an established software provider, domeba is increasingly positioning itself as an attractive employer in the region. In the search for thinkers, experts and doers, the company and its domebians are establishing themselves as an employer brand.

 

 

2020 – The Pandemic

 

 

Covid reaches Germany and naturally also affects occupational health and safety. With free instructions and checklists, domeba is helping other companies to get through the pandemic as well as possible.

 

 

2021 – HSQE and ESG

 

 

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important – also in the world of work. This is recognised at domeba. The topics of HSQE compliance management (health, safety, quality, environment) and ESG (environmental, social, governance) are included in the development of iManSys.

 

 

2022 – The Move

 

 

Time for change! At the beginning of 2022, the team moves into the impressive company building in the A4 Gewerbepark in Chemnitz – more space for employees, for new ideas and for continuous development.

 

 

2023 – The Anniversary

 

 

domeba saw the light of day 25 years ago and has since developed into an internationally active innovation driver for HSQE and ESG software solutions. Around 120 domebians are part of it – and we are still growing!

 

 

2024 – Internationality

 

 

domeba is becoming increasingly international! Employees in Switzerland, Denmark, France and Poland are now helping us to strengthen companies in many parts of the world in the area of compliance management. We are ready for the future!
